“Ti sei mai fermato davanti a qualcosa che non durerà?”

“Have you ever paused before something that won’t last?” is both a question and an invitation. The ephemeral, guerrilla intervention of the artist asks the viewer to pause before what is fleeting, to hold the moment fully and to feel its weight before it disappears. Mounted deliberately on a faltering piece of wall — a wall that clings to its strength, even as it slowly vanishes — the work was created to decay quickly, remaining in place only until the elements and circumstance reclaim it. The artist has not been able to return to the site since its completion, leaving its fate entirely to time. The moment the final photograph is damaged, the intervention is considered complete — a quiet, bittersweet parallel to the artist’s own life events. In this impermanence, the work becomes a meditation on witnessing, memory, and the inevitability of letting go.
